Tony Tambasco is the Artistic Director of Bad Quarto Productions
as well as the Asst. Production Manager and Rentals Manager at The
Gateway Playhouse. He holds an M.F.A. in directing and a Master of
Letters in Shakespeare and Performance
from the American Shakespeare
Center's graduate program at Mary Baldwin University, a BA from SUNY Potsdam, and is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He enjoys directing plays with rich language and grand
philosophy played out in personal ways, and in his work with Bad Quarto strives to reconnect with the rawness and immediacy of early
modern rehearsal and performance conditions.
